I need to disconnect the choke cable from the carb on a 05 Magnum. Carb is a Mikuni BST24. What's the trick?

(see the pic below) There is a 12mm fitting on the carb where the choke cable connects, but there's not really enough room to get a wrench on it. I think I can modify a wrench to get the job done, but I want to make sure that this fitting needs to come off before I grind the jaws on a good wrench.

I have to get the carb disconnected this weekend so I can take it to a machine shop and get siezed the idle mix screw extracted.

THANKS!!!

Yes, that needs to come off. I just cut down a wrench to fit. It's still a pain but if you grind enough off a wrench, it can be done.
