I've never heard them side by side, but the HMF Utility is LOUD, especially on big bore bikes. I love the HMF brand though, I haven't had any problems or seen any problems out of them. You won't HAVE to rejet when you get an aftermarket exhaust, but when you change any of the air flow you need to rejet for optimum performance. Get an exhaust, a filter, and a jet kit. You'll be pleased with it.
