well i finally go my bike back after a month & i put the Dalton in & a frame mod. i rode it today for about 10min. & i got the HI HEAT LIMP HOME MODE. I smell antifreeze, & the fan wont come on. could i have done something in my install? the dealer had to put a new seat, updated heat shield & the start in gear switch on. could the dealer have done something? what can i check? i really don't want to let it set in the shop for another month!

Sounds like the water pump seal......is the rad empty all of the sudden?

P.S. for to add that in limp mode, boy that thing sure feels like it didn't lose any power.

i dont know about the radiator, but the overflow jug is full. i guess that thing is the overflow jug.

check the rad......mine went out a few weeks ago and it showed 150 degrees on the gauge.....but was hot as hellllllll....rad was empty....seal was shot.

the relay is bad. i crossed it over & the fan came on. thanks for the help.

You can get the relay at your local parts store. (auto zone, napa)
