Was looking at the hid's on www.shop.jetoffroad.com and when you order they give you the option to select    6000k super white, 8000k white blue or
10,000k arctic blue. I really dont know about all that crap, just want some bright lights. Any ideas as to which one of these to get.

I wouldthink the 10k's would be the brightest. But then I dont know. I have HIDS on my Grizzly and they are definately way brighter than stock.

buy the 8k's

6k is just white
8k is a mix with white and blue, makes a real light blue
10k is blue/purple as crap. looks terrible

Just found out that the 6000k lowest number are the brightest. The higher numbers just look cool because of the color.

You guys seemed to have figured it out, but I'll throw in a little more.
The brightest is 4500k  - 5000k which is supposed to equal pure sunlight. Normally factory
Also you can find 3000k, those are bright yellow, good for foglights.
And if you really want to get wild you can find they have 12000, 14000, and 16000k. That starts getting into violet.
Just good stuff to know. I have seen alot of people get 10k thinking its the brightest. But any of these should be brighter than regular halogens.

jetoffroad is a top notch place to deal with in my opinion.  I just bought a set of the 6000K for my rzr and man do they light up the night! haha I ordered straight off there website and got them for 119.99 shipped to my door and had them in less than 4 days from AZ.  They are right though, the higher the kelsing rating (I think that's what it's called) the dimmer the light.  The higher is used for color versus the 6000K which is going to be the brightest.  Don't even think you can get the 4500-5000K for ATV's.  You don't have to do any mods to make them fit, just cross reference your stock bulb number and your set.  For instance the Polaris is an 880 bulb as well as the Arctic Cat's so you make sure to order that bulb style.

The hid's only come with one beam. You just adjust it correctly amd there is no need for high/low beam.Best upgrade for night riding ever made.

Does anyone know what size bulb I would need for a 2004 Honda Rancher 400AT? I have HID lights on both of my vehicles and it sure does make a difference.

It should be the H6M, but on my Rancher, I modified some h-4 bulbs to fit, only reason I did that is because I had a H4 HID Kit laying around...

Just sent them a request to see if they have a conversion for the Brute. These would be nice on the early hours ice fishing on the lake.
