I bought the 55w slim ballast kit off ebay the he bulb 4300K my question is does this bulb fit in perfect of do I have to bore it out with a dremal like some of the guys have been doing??

I may be wrong but I have not seen where anyone has not had to rig the base for the bulb, that is why I have held off so far

I used the H-3 style bulbs,   Yes you have to drill out the center of the original bulb housing.    Then rtv the new bulb inplace.   No modification to the hid bulb,  other than the rtv.
