I am diagnosing a problem with my brute, i am 99% sure it fuel related so I took the fuel hose off of the carb and stuck it in a plastic bottle. I cranked the motor over and over and no fuel came out of the line,

when I go to start it shouldent fuel come out of the line? or does the carb create some kinda suction and fuel wont come out untill it is hooked up to the carb?

I am about 99% sure that there is a vacum created by the carbs. Thats why you have to plug the snorkals. Give us a little more info on the problem you are having?

under your fender, where your fuel neck enters the tank.. there is a hose with a one way valve that runs into the frame.. its about 3" or 4" long.. check and make sure it is not clogged..

My buddy told me to disconnect the other fuel line on the other end of the pump( the line from the tank into the pump) NOT the line from the pump to the carb. Well.... it looks like there is no line from the tank to the pump it looks like the pump is flush mounted to the tank. He was talking about the  line coming out from underneath the tank from a petcock but this does not seem  to have this??

you wont get fuel from that line unless it is hooked to carbs and yes there is a vacuum at the carbs. mine had the same prob and was clogged jets inside the carbs. had to take of the carbs and clean the pilot jets twice because of old gas sitting in it. try that before buying a fuel pump
