I've just about run out of things to get for my rubi, but my brother told me about the mudbuster hotcam. I'm thinking about buying it , I was wandering if any of you might have some insite on just how much of a performance increase it really gives you.

It will make a noticeable difference on the bottom end, and a really noticeable increase at midrange. Top end will be slightly less than before. Its a good mod IMO.

I agree. Mines a stump puller now, and has 'kick your **** mid range'. The top end is a little better if not the same, but I lost a couple of MPH's. 54 tops in ESP. If you want low end torque, its a good add on. Honda of Troy about $140 on eBay store.

Does it make a difference if you don't have a big bore kit?

I got a noticeable low and mid range, but nothing too great. I suppose it would be more if I took time to jet it better and got a bbk or head work. I really didn't notice a loss in my top end, actually believe I gained a couple.

In mid and low range in a drag race I pull away from all my friends with honda Utilities. Still won't keep up with the brute force at any range. Foreman 500's and Rincons take me on top end, but they have to catch up to me before they do.
