My brother in law has an 07' Grizzly (Bruin) 350 2wd that for some reason has no power out of the hole ant more. When he first got the bike you could easily make it pull wheelies and launch good from a start. It does not feel like it is the motor that is the problem; more like the tranny or clutch. Is there anything that can be adjusted or is there anything I can look for that may be the problem? I'm thinking maybe the belt, but I don't know. Any help appreciated.

I seem to be having the same issue on an 06 Bruin 2x4. I thought it may be the carb needs adjusted but IDK haven't messed with it much.

I was wondering the same thing. I just bought my 350 and it seems like it has the same issue. (issue being its not a 700 lol)  my big bear 400 isnt an automatic, and it will haul tail like no ones business, seems like the grizz takes forever for the auto tranny to 'spool up' and take off.

If it was the clutch.. do you mean like it's sliping or engaging too early?
On mine it just seems to bog down a bit from a full stop to immediate WOT.

The seal on the belt housing may be gone and water is getting in, this will make the the bike seem gutless until the water gets blown out the CVT exhaust.

I don't think this is it because I don't think this bike has seen deep water any time recently and if it does it is only for a short amount of time. Probably the deepest it has been is around the top of the fenders anyway. It is not something temporary, either; it is doing this all the time.

I don't think this is a carb problem either because the motor does not stumble or cough when it does this.

Sounds like water and grit in the belt housing, going fender deep on those is not a good idea. The Grizz 700 has high snorkles but some of the rest dont have the same. Id take teh belt cover off, and clean it up in there, remove the roller weights and regrease. Im 99% sure thats what is wrong, seen numerous 660's and Kodiaks do the same thing your describing

Is it very hard to take all of that apart and clean it? I have never messed with an automatic before and my brother in law has no experience when it comes to working on 4 wheelers. If it's not too bad I will help him, if not I'll just tell him to take it to the shop.

You might try looking in the owners manual to see if it has a "belt adjustment" section.  That might save you a ton of dough before dropping it off at the stealership.
I'm like revemup15...I've never actually messed with an automatic, but it can't be any more difficult that changing the oil.

If its got a clutch/belt setup, then you need to clean the clutch weights & regrease. Thats exactly what it sounds like. It aint hard.

Ok, I will see what I can do with it when I get a chance. BTW, can you seal up or snorkle the belt housing, and if so, how much is there to it?

I have flushed the Wife's machine (automatic Grizz 350) by removing the drainage plug and blasting the drainage hole with a steady stream of water (house hold pressure only).  You can also spray into the CVT intake with the plug open.  This has been a 'quick' fix for when she submerges the quad ( see http://www.youtube.com/user/aldamckee for typical riding conditions).  While I have not snorkled her machine it is absolutly necessary to do as the CVT intake/exhaust and air intake are way to low and easily 'filled' (see 'Death of a Grizzly' above).  I cannot see any way to place the snorks so as to keep them hidden, I'll be working on it in early spring and will post pics (it is now winter/frozen time up here!)
