I have an '03 660 here, I noticed whenever I go to start it up for the day the clock on the dash seems to be way off, it resets or it's too slow, is there a battery I can replace? all the rest are fine, odo, trip numbers all the same how they were when I left the quad.

Next...when I ride in water up to the top of my tires(26" tires) my engine sputters a bit, but not 100% of the time.  Is water getting in somewhere?  I would like to try dielectric grease in the plug boot, i've heard of people doing that to help.

Definitely need to di-electric grease EVERY CONNECTION U CAN FIND...and then some..Mine used to do the same thing, and still does the same thing on the clock..I don't know what is making it do that but I've give up on re-setting it cause it's always off. But yes, definitely clean with electric motor cleaner, and grease every connection you can find

Also get the front end connector when you are greasing. that is what sputtered me once.

Your sputtering prob is steam getting into the engine??? I took a piece of sheet metal and bent it and bolted it to the right of the box to help direct the steam away. Also snorkling it will help.

As for the display check the bezel around the LCD screen for cracks mine cracked and let water in and it started acting crazy

check the pod connections, sounds like one is loose, add some grease to it as well

Alright thanks, I'll grease up the connections and see if it helps my problems.
