Bought my new Sig P226R Blackwater, but the background check came back delayed by the FBI. Sucks, but only makes it better in a few days when I'm approved!

Don't feel bad about the "conditional" status. I work at a gun store in florida and with the high volume of gun sales in the past few weeks, if there is something in your record that shows that they need to look into, they will not look into it on the spot like they usually do. They are getting way to many phone calls to stop and do that at the time of the purchase. But once they pass the paperwork onto someone else they will look into it and determine your status. 99% of the time it will come back approved.

I get delayed every time I buy a gun. It drives me insane. Clean record, but there are about 6 people in my county with the same name. And it never fails, I get held up. I finally started letting my wife buy the guns. She goes right thru.

Nice gun I have one also. Got it for 800 firm! The grips make the gun feel very wide compared to my 226 DAK and the 220. Congrats.

Oh yeah! Smooth, follow ups and Mozambique drills are a tad bit quicker since the trigger has a shorter reset.

you should be able to get a upin and that problem will go away

I bought 2 new pistols right before the election. A S&W 686 .357 mag stainless 6" barrel 7 shooter ( night sights are on the way!)

Also a Springfield XD .40 sub compact
