Its a shame you couldnt get something better like that 96 Z71.

anyways, I like the V8 dakota's. they are quick. and the 5.9's sound awesome with the right exhaust system.

Congrats man welcome to the Dakota club! I've had 4 of them now and they are amazing trucks. You got any pics of it? I've got 2 reg cab short bed V8 Daks now, ones a 02 2wd with the 4.7L thats pretty quick and the other is my mud truck its a 99 4x4 318 with a 3" Rancho lift and 35s. I've got a Cherry Bomb Extreme on the 99 and it sounds sweet! The 5.9s or 360s were pretty rare that year, that was the last year you could get them in anything but the R/T I think. What color is it?

I have the knockoff, its body is 6.25" long. thats small.

Compared to my Magnaflow, Its about 40% louder. I love it.

when running about 1000 rpms you dont even know the trucks running but when I punch it, it SCREAMS.

I give it a 8.5, but it will be about a 9.5 if I can ever get around to cutting the cats.

Yep it was standard in the R/Ts and was optional in some of the 4x4s.
