Ok so I took my "new to me" rancher out today for the first time.  Its running staggered 27s MSTs and of course I found myself getting hung up on the SRA a lot since I was following a buddy with IRS and 29.5s.

I am planning on swithing to Outlaws soon but I really wanted to go up to 28's.  It turns the 27 fine in 2nd and even 3rd but I'm sure I'll want more bottom end if I move up a size.  I didn't turn up gear reductions in my search for my year model rancher. Does anyone make one?

with that BBK and pipe it might be able to do some 28x9.5's...

I mean if it does fine in 2nd and 3rd now, then the 28's shouldnt be any trouble.  You will have to be in 1st a lot but thats completely normal.

No, there is not a GR made for the 350 rancher motor since I heard there isnt enough room in the engine for something like that...?

Thanks for the replies guys.  My buddy runs 28's on his rancher and it does pretty well and I really need the ground clearance out back.  I am really thinking about taking this 2 inch HL lift off to reduce the angles of the front shafts and give me a little more room on the back fender.

You are better off with no lift. I don't have one and clear the 28's.And they run a little big.
