Ok i just want some info on a gear reduction for a foreman 450. So everybody with 450's please give me some info on them. Are they worth the money or not. And also does it break stuff.

Info on gear reductions....

They increase the final drive ratio.
If you thought it was slow before, you'll be sure afterwards.
They are well worth the money.
Yes you can break stuff.  This is right off of the crankshaft.  Anything south of that is prone.

How do you go about doing a gear reduction? Also is there a kit for this? I also read something about a Big Red reduction, what is that ?

It's pretty simple.

It's a TRX300 primary drive gear, a TRX300 change clutch basket, and a TRX450 front cover gasket.  Install the parts per the factory TRX450 service manual.

don't mean to butt into the thread, but what would it take to put a gear reduction in a 350 rancher?

Is this just as simple as it sounds to install by just swapping gears or is it tricky? Also do yall have any detailed instructions or pics?

Thanks
