I recently had some work done on my carb because the float was getting stuck and it seemed to be running too rich. Anyway, since I got it back Ive ridden it a couple times and noticed that when I let off the gas from high speeds it will make short back fires, nothing to major but noticeable nonetheless. I also noticed that sometimes when I turn it off after riding for a while I'll get a back fire from the exhaust. I know the guy that worked on it went down a jet or two to lean it out. Other than the back fires it seems to be running good. Is this anything to worry about?

Do a plug check to see if you are rich or lean. When my bike starts that the valves are out of adjustment.May be something else to look into.
