Alright I jsut bought a Flow Master Super 40 and plan on putting it on my truck. I am gonna get it with the pipe and tips side exiting infront my rear tire. I dont have the money to pay a shop to do that yet, so does anyone with a pipe bender and a MIG welder want to make a little cash? Also, if I put the Super 40 on right now, will it hurt anything to not have turn downs on it. That would just be like that until I can pay a shop. I know someone who can put it on, but noone with a pipe bender so help me out.

Id go on and put the muffler on.  I ran my Magnaflow for months with the pipes chopped straight off, no turndowns or anything.  sounded good.

Single out or dual out? If dual outlets, they will both have to exit the same side of the vehicle due to the fuel tank being on the other side.

Yea I forgot to mention that on these GM trucks if you do a pre-rear wheel side exit, both must come out in front of the passenger tire.  thats if they are duals.

personally, Im not even running tips anymore. tips done right (45'd at rear bumper) look really good but right now Im enjoying having no tips to constantly clean / get mad about when a rock chips one.
