A couple of my buddies have some older atvs like 1997 and stuff theres do not have fans on them and we were wondering if it would help to install an electric fan on them like the newer ones have to keep them from getting to hot?

Do they have oil-coolers or are they strictly air-cooled engines?

You can install a fan on them either way and it will help reduce the heat.

I will have to check and see what they are I am pretty sure one of them has an oil cooler will have to check the other two. Thanks for the advice.

I have seen guys install after market fans they picked up from local parts stores. Don't forget the on/off switch so you can turn it off before you hit the water.
