i want a tall skinny tire with good traction, dont wanna spin much, mainly crawling. the mud bishes are like mudzillas but cheaper, the laws which we all know how they are, and edls are just bad.
want a 27 or 28 inch tire.

primary bike it'll be on will be a thundercat

For crawling, tall and skinny?  If by crawling you mean climbing, then none of those tires mentioned will compare to an EDL.  Laws are not good climbers at all.

But how "tall" are you talking about.  You're limited to 27 inches with most EDL's, but the Laws, Backs and Mudzillas easily go to the 30 inch ranges.  Out of those big 3, I say the Backs would be better climbers, but I have little experience personally with the Backs.

well i guess tall is relative. i wont have no lift on my bike. when i say tall. i really meant taller than stock. 27 or 28 inch tire. bout 10 inches wide. i thought the edls are 28x10? mostly climbing and going through light mud. but i dont wanna spin. just wanna hook n go.

ever think about the mudlite xxl? they are tall, and are pretty good at climbing.

I would go with edl, they are best tires for hooking up no comparison...IMO. Second place would be the Backs, and third outlaws. I wouldnt even consider mudzillas. Im not being biased either, cause i love my laws, but for what your wanting for go with the edls, in fact there is some in the forsale section right now.

either EDL's or Sbacks. EDL's only come in one size, 28x10x12. But, they actually measure 27x8.5x12. I would go with a set of 28x10x12 Sbacks if your looking to stay at or below 28". If not, go with the 30x9x14 Sbacks.

Seen them in action, worse than a mudzilla if that tells you anything.  My opinion: they suck & are also a copied tire as is another being discussed

Go with the best and the original, the outlaw

I own both Laws and Sbacks. There are plenty of differences or improvements, or whatever you'd to call it.
