I've hear that some have double gear reductions of their hondas   how is this possoble ? adding a transfer case? or new gears in the diffs?

but that would be a single for the front and single for the back
I thought it would be a compounding reduction and not a parallel reduction.

The Rancher 420 is the only model that you can do double reduction on, I believe.  If I'm not mistaken, you use the Turners/HL reduction that was made for the Foreman 500 and then there is another one that is made by one of the forum members.  Green420 is the guy to talk to about it.

it is a true double reduction one being used by changing the primary and basket gear and the other in line with it not really sure if the other one is part of the tranny or if its for the  output shaft or what it is not one for the front and one for the back i dont know where he got that from

I belive it is changing the primary and basket for one reduction and the drive gear for the other reduction.

yes one reduction goes in the front case of the motor by changing the primary gear and clutch basket gear. The second reduction is in the rear engine case and changes the output gear in the transmission by taking away teeth from the original gear by replacing it with a new gear with less teeth.

Unfortunately yes. Had the tires before the reductions. Money is tight now so gotta deal with the little tires for a while

Hahahahahaahaha yeah just about. Its kinda crazy, i have the clutch kit in as well and i have hardly any first gear, but will start going in the worst mud you can put at it. I really wouldn't suggest the clutch kit with both reductions. Its just not needed. I was just to lazy to take it out. Cuz first i did the turner reduction along with the clutch kit which was great but was gonna upgrade tires to huge so i put in the other reduction later on and didn't take out the clutch. But now money is tight so tires are gonna wait

No rubicons take a special turner reduction which most people have been waitin on for years. I dont think anybody actually has one yet.
