My 29.5 swamplites get filled up with mud a lot. They don't clean out very well in thick mud. Has anyone thought ab cutting some lugs out of the treads so mabe the mud would clean out faster? Just an idea what do yall think? Thanks alot

I have thought about this but the biggest disadvantage I can see is that they will wear much worse.  they are already a soft tire so the wear would be reduced.

wonder if you could cut them like this...

Is this something like you want to do??

Like take out the ones is black and leave the ones is red??

If so I thing that it might be ok, if you leave the center lug alone.

As small as the lugs are...I bet it would make it worse in the mud.

Yea that would suck if you did it and then they were worse but then again you will never know if you don't try.

Sorry guys I haven't been on in a little while. My computer got hit by lightning so I had to get it fixed. Anyway I cut every other lug. The big lugs on the outside not the center. I have tried them in thick mud and clay and they clean out a lot beter than they did. They still ride the same not ruff at all.
