In the atv world is there a market for custom chrome on plastics, metals, wheels or pretty much anything else in flames, fades, stripes or who knows in virtually any color?

i know myself and alot of people i know would be interested.  there would be alot of questions though........what temp can it support, what type of metal does it need to be to chrome, cost (being probably the most important)......and so on........lets do some testing on my wife's bike.  LOL    do you have pink chrome??

Absolutely pink can be done!!.. Any shade of any color except white... Also it doesn't have to be metal it can be plastic also. If you can paint it it can be chromed. This stuff is tough and extremely flexible. It is every bit as durable as an automotive finish as far as harsh environments like we put these atvs through. Temp, it is good up to about 200 degrees. So basically nothing that has direct heat applied ie engine blocks or exhaust pipes. Oh yeah as far as price we are still working that one out however I can tell you it would most likely be affordable for the most part considering what has to be done to apply it.

I am working on the details for pricing and other issues involved. Also I have given thought to plating (chrome, gold, silver, copper, nickle) for those high temp areas. Though the electroplating cannot be tinted I think it would be a wonderful addition to the other process. Add more Bling to the Bling .

I will have an answer to the pricing question some time this week (I hope). And we will be able to do fenders, front and rear cabs (fender assemblies), frames etc. Haven't given much thought as to anything bigger but if you have anything on your mind let me know and we will mill it over..

Wheels, snorkles, racks, a-arms, springs, frame, any thing like that can be done for sure.. Now ALMOST30S your whole truck may be a little big. Though for the right amount of money anything is possible. Like any automotive type finish the prep work has to be perfect so a lot of the pricing involved will be due to how much sanding, filling, smoothing has to be done...

Yeah that would be super cool.. Guess I am going to have to get the full size paint booth... Still trying to work on the building and paint booth...Basically pricing would be done just like you would get at the body shop. Just depends on the job.. Just for example if you wanted your a-arms done.. I would say around 20 bucks and up depending on amount of prep work needed, and if you wanted it tinted any certain color other than just basic chrome. Pricing is going to be very reasonable for basic stuff.. Any "custom" work of course will be higher especially if you want some candy colors or tints, fades, flames or anything like that... I wished we had something to show everyone but unfortunately we won't until we get the equipment and start puttin chrome on everything I have around the house... Oh yeah that car looks a lot like what I will be doing, but imagine that chrome with a black tint.... Maybe a very light pearl flake in the tint... Or some candy (translucent) true flames (would have to get my airbrush man in to do those)??? WOO HOOOO.. Talk about some bling.
