I talked ta Lea today about why the park was still shut down. She told me the sewer treatment plant thats out there has been without power till yesterday and has been overflowing into one of the the creek that runs through the washout. The got power back to it today and started doing all of the chemical treatments to clean up all the sewage. She was told by the people doing the cleanup that it may be a serious health hazard for people to be riding in or around any of the creeks that were affected at this time but after their chemocal treatments it should be ok. Just shows the kind of people we have running Outlaws, they are losing money by not opening for our health. She also said that the smell from the sewer runoff and all of the dead shad up on the hardpack is all but unbearable, so it prolly wouldnt be all that enjoyable of a ride anyhow.

lol....... i was out there saturday, put in at mel's , at the $5 hole, is where that treatment plant is, i did not smell a thing, BUT i did stay out of the water at the lakes, but it was ON at the figure 8... the honda trail is a MESS! and dead shad everywhere, and stunk like you know what... that was the worst spot i found, cannot really trail ride unless you bring a chain saw. it was not as bad as a lot of people said, i had a blast
