Is the secondary aftermarket springs worth it? If so which color? Going to drill the weights and put the purple 500 springs in and I was just wondering if it is going to be worth it for the secondary spring.

YES!!!!! I just turned mine 90 degrees to make it stiffer. Worth it cause it was free. It did make a big difference. I'm not sure what color for the aftermarket spring. Someone else will help you with that.

Yeap do what he said or buy the yellow spring from EPI for it, unless they now have a stiffer one out..
but do one of the 2 things for sure.

also see about shiming out the primary for a lower starting off gear ratio any real good mod that is cheap.
