Just wondering what you guys are using to help with cleanup? Anything to make the mud come off easier would be great.

not rying to be smart but washing after every ride is what i do. i bought a hand mit from wal-mart that i use. in one hand i hose & the other i wipe w/the mit. mit works real, real well. only taks a minute to get her back clean & sparkly.

I spary mine down with tire foam before i ever hit the mud this seems to help alot, but when i clean it i just use soap and water or maybe some Simply Green to help.

Something to take mud stains on paint would be nice..

Purple power or LA' TOTALLY AWESOME are by far the best cleaners. Dont spray then on your gauge face or on your wheels but besides that both of them will remove anything. LA"s is stonger but i am still cautious with it. I buy purple power by the gallon. You can buy pp anywhere (Wal mart, auto zone etc....) and the only place i can find LA's is doller general.

MuddyCoog Hey bro , &  for getting my bike! LOL! JK! Most of the time I just use what ever car wash soap I have, unless I have some Suzuki wash! Hit all the big mud/dirt off with the pressure washer, then soap it down & use a rag/mitt to hit it all. Rinse with the pressure washer, let dry, then spray it down with F21. It's by Turtle Wax & is freakin Awesome! It's not very expensive & I've used it on both our bikes already & still have at least .5 bottle left!  Armor All is bad for the plastics & causes them to become brittle! Just FYI. Hope this helps & enjoy the new bike  Later bro                Brandon

I use the totally awesome it is real cheap and I run the  cyphoning(sp?)hose from the pressure washer over into the bottle. Then spray it with tire wet and hardly nothing will stick to it. You can rinse it for aout two or three weeks before you have to do it again.*

*Of course the legnth of time between washes will vary during riding time and if you have a previous flake a 4000psi pressure washer will flake paint. Side effects include nausea, headache, and in some cases moderate to severe anal seapage.

Spray Tire Wet (or something similar) on the bike.  This will help the mud rinse right off.  I wouldn't cover the seat though.  You'll be sliding off it all day!!

Anybody ever use this stuff?  Have considered trying it but would be good to get a review first.  Otherwise....for myself, so far my cleaning has been with Simply Green, water hose, and rags.

I use liquid glass on my plastic, but mine is painted plastic. The mud comes right off, on the under side I use hot water and car wash soap.
