Status: offline 		Does anyone out there know the exact CDI for the Chino 686 carbed engine? I have been told the 660 grizz cdi does not work.I think it`s the CDI out of the 700 grizz knockoff quad,but have no way to confirm this.I have ridden the quad and it really goes, same motor in the utv just governed down in rpm(regulations) by the CDI.If any one has any insight into this i would  appreciate it.....thanx

Status: offline 		You need the 700 CDI from the same brand quad as your UTV. Also the 700 Knockoff quad cdi will work on the Rhino 660 and yes it does run better. The only thing that will not work on the 660 Rhino after installing the CDI is the speedo.

Status: offline 		as stated above, you just need the cdi from the 700 ATV version. i have 2 of the 600's and i just got cdi's from the 600 atv's and they worked perfect.

The 700 grizzly will not work in the Chino's. Would also bet that the Chino cdi is half the price of the Yamaha cdi.

Status: offline 		 So ok I know this shows how little I know , but just what is a CDI ? I have the Chino 700, it will run about 40 or so with me and my 19 year old son in it along wit bags of deer corn and so on. So it really goes as fast as I want to go. Dont think that I need more speed out of it.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the conformation,with a pipe,cdi, air filter & some jetting this thing should get along fine.Found the cost of the CDI out 35$. Got to love these chinos for bang for the buck!
