Status: offline 		No speed difference noticed here.  The leafs do kind of mess with my eyes but it's as fast as ever.

Status: offline 		So since your into computers then you know that your browser cache's the background image, so the first load will be slow, then the same after that.

You also know that the bg is 23.49 Kbytes, which would load in under 5 seconds on 56Kbits dial up.  On broadband, it would even cough.

Nice fall up-grade, but does mess with the eyes, as has been stated.
