yeap it would be much better to pull the diffs out, the rear is pretty simple and the front is until you try to take it out.lol gotta hold the tounge just right and say the correct curse words and then it just falls out..lol

I have to disagree with that.  After breaking the front 2 tabs off a wile back,  I now can take the cat from complete with tires down to front diff out and on the ground in under 45mins.   It helped when I made a little extra room with the new front tabs.    You do it a few time and its nothing.  Just work from the right side when you take the diff out of the frame.

That it is hard to get the diff out.  Even befor I broke the tab it can out fine.  But after the tab repair it was a lot easier.  Little joke.  Thats all.

I didn't try to break mine,  it just that the 500m makes to much power for the tab to hold up.

Not to still this thread but on the Tcats they fixed the tabs better.  They have a top pice on the tab to make them stronger.   hope it works.

Pulling the front diff requires almost as much foul language as the front head pipe on a V2.  Then, just like the diff, it just falls out.

Man!! i was so EDIT mad when taking mine out, I dang near kicked the bike off the jack stands. I have a little bit of a temper (trust me, its SOOO much better in my older age) but the thing was getting the best of me. I seriously wanted to shoot it! Stomp it, throw it, etc.. I was fighting mad! Then... it feel out.. LOL!

Putting it back in, I thought I had it down as it went in very easy. A day later my 4.0's arrived, and I thought, eh no biggy, i know how to do it now. WRONG!!!

Same thing. I couldnt get it out, It just sat there hanging. I left it for about and hour, went inside, asked the lord to forgive my sins, and relaxed.

Went back out side, grabbed it with one hand, turned it a little, and it fell out.

That weekend, the pin snapped. I had to remove it again!!!! This time though, I new acaxtly what to do and which way to twist and turn it. Came out in like 5 mins after removing the suspension, bolts, etc..
