the float bowl drain is a vent as well, you will need to plug it off or put a one way check valve on it. happens all the time if its not plugged off.

We have had bad luck with those check valves. They get mud in them and hang open. Just plug it off. Make sure you are able to unplug it so you can drain your carb if necessary.

i think a local auto parts store might have them, i know my old Polaris had one on it so they sell them as well.

Looks like you got about most everything on there allready. add a Web cam and some 4.0 gears is about allyou got left unless you do a Big bore kit.

im sure ppl here know it but you ahve to be more mindfull if you plug the carb drain off.  that hose serve 2 purposes. 1. carb drain and 2. overflow drain.  if you float sticks and it is pluged off it will fill the crank with gas and wash out the rings.

just make sure you do not get your carb VENT line(line at the top of the carb) pinched are clogged. it will stick the float in a hurry.

good luck with the cat.

Plaase dont tell the yammi guys but i miss my 500m at lot these days.

LOL yeah they all have there goods and bads about them.
but hes right if your float bowl drain/vent is pugged off and it sticks for some reason it will flood the motor with gas, that why i tel people to plug it OR get a one way check valve, BUT like Bustedknuckles said the one way can get mud in it and stick.
mine is plugged off either way it could be a pain in the butt..lol

I've seen some of them load up with it plugged, but it was a bad off camber hole. Not sure what a perfect fix is for this. I'm scared of the check valves. Seen a few fail. I'd rather my bike load up, than get muddy water in the carb.

Maybe if you put the check valve between the filter and the carb, it would keep the mud out of the check valve.

OK I GOT THE KITTY ALL FIXED UP NOW I INSTALLED A FUEL  LINE COMING OFF THE CARB VENT/DRAIN THEN I INSTALLED A CHECK VALVE AFTER THAT A SHORT PIECE OF FUEL LINE WITH A BRASS 4 WAY COUPLIN WITH 3 VENT COMING OFF OF IT ONE TO THE RIGHT SIDE ONE IN THE MIDDLE AND ONE ON THE LEFT THIS SHOULD WORK! IF THEY ALL GET PLUGGED AT ONCE IT WAS MENT TO HAPPEN IN MY BOOK! OH ALSO TRIED IT OUT AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHAMP THANKS GUYS
