One is Tiny and the other is even SMALLERdont waste your money bud get  Web 150I or a 504 Grind with Pistons cams and springs and its like a new bike more power than you can use just trail riding,or lots of fun for a good rider

They are both Hot cams your regular Hot Cam is a stage 1 and it is for mid to top end power and the mudbuster is for low end.

Unless your geting a heck of a deal on them then I would do what Bad brute 650 suggested.... The Web 150I is a drop in Cam like hotcams and doesnt require any springs and will make more power then the Hot Cams. If you puting High comp pistons in I would suggest geting Cams and springs from one of the several Custom Kawi builders..... it is a night and day diffrence from a drop in cam.

well i guess i posted this alittle late and i already got the hotcams installed rhe reason i got them was because there was this really loud noise coming from my snorks so i took it to a buudy of mines house that works on the kawi twins and he said it sounded like timing chains so i bought new chains and the cams we put them in last nite got the bike back runnin and theres the same sound is there no worse but no better either so im jus thinking its something else the crank maybe or a rod bearing its like a bad banging sound out of the snorks its jus discouraging to tear these twins down put em back together in one nite and didnt fix tha problem only good thing was i did need new timing chains and the brute sounds a lot better didnt know jus the cams would do that to the sound of the exhaust so wat do yall think it could be if we break it down again which we will imsure i think ima go with something from fundy i jus really dumb founded rite now

I would definatly check into what bad brute 650 is talking about... I havent ever heard a rod knocking through the snorkels... if its a rod bearing you would hear it at the base of the head or it would sound like its coming from the middle of the motor. It will also have a noticable vibration. I'm not saying it isnt a rod but make sure you check all the simple things first.

I know for a FACT it has something to do with your crank or crank bearing..If its making that noise when it first fires up(No or low oil pressure) I know in a car or truck, that is the easiest way to tell...Once the bearings get oil on them and warm up, they DONT MAKE THE KNOCKING AND TICKING NOISE AS BAD..I'm not saying its def. your crank, I'm just saying it more than likely has something to do in that area of the motor Take it to Flynt or the Kawi dealer and it won't do it anymore

My 05 started the same thing. Its at the shop now tore down. It had begun to eat the cams, hot cams, and the rocker arms. Im in the process of getting the parts as we speak so that hopefully we can get it back together soon. Mine had wore so bad that it actually was starting to loose power, not opening up the valves all the way. Did you check your rockers close when you installed your cams. If they had wear in them then you could be in the beginning stages of my problem. Just food for thought.
