Found this thing this morning, funny thing is I took about 50 pic's of it then ran into the house and said I was going to kill it went back out in the garage and it was gone. I think it's a black widow.

Yup.........if you got kids around the house, go ahead and find it and kill it.......We got tons of them around here.  I kill every one of them I come across just to stay on the safe side.

I hate them things. I've killed more than my fair share around my shed and at work. I hate killing them at work b/c then I have to fill out an incident report.

I have read that black widows can hold their breath for hours so the fogger stuff probably won't work.  You may have to call an exterminator if you have a bad infestation of black widows.  They can kill you.

No it's the first one I've seen in 3 years, I just don't want to be reaching for a tool and have a black widow crawling up my arm.

Best thing to do is get an exterminator...Also in some places they have a do it yourself est control and you can buy the same chemicals we exterminators can get....Me personally I would get Demon WP or a checmical that is micro incapsulated ( I cant think of any right off the top of my head at the sec)....But the normal spray that dont dry to dust or is micro incapsulated you will have to spray it right on the spider cause they dont groom there legs like roaches and such...If you do get an exterminator though get a hometown exterminator...Support you local people...I hoep this helps you in some way...

when i was getting my land ready for a new house trailer i came across a cluster of black widow spiders about the size of your fist...there were thousands of them in a hole under a concrete block...poured about a gallon of gasoline on them and lit them up

I found one of those on my foreman while I was riding it. I thought I saw something move behind the front bumper so I  look harder and sure enough a big black widow. stopped quick and jumped off scraming like a girl I hate spiders. Made the wife kill it LOL she kills the spiders I kill all else.

if there is one then there is more.  Get you some Demon WP, and it will rid you of all the spiders.  We use it at our fire station and it got rid of all the spiders for about 6 mths and they are still 60% less than there was before.  It works!

Troublemaker, it would freak most people out where we live at how common black widows are in our area.  I've seen them in garages and yards from the beach to the Sandhills.  I used to have trouble with black widows and small scorpions getting inside some of my early trail cams and in the lids of my old gravity feeders.  That's a lovely little suprise to find when you open one or the other.  I had one fall out of a pine tree which hit my hat on the way down and landed in my lap last hunting season while about 35 ft high in a lock on.  The creepy crawlies always seem to find me at the least opportune moments, such as the cotton mouth that fell at my feet in my bass boat on the river a couple summers back.
