Status: offline 		Well here is the big red i have seen it for my self and its not as ugly as i once said. In the pic it has a roof and after market wheels and tires. Its a step up from the pic that were last posted.

I think we can all read a sales brochure, what he ment ( I think) was, is it the same engine as the rinny like the specs would have you belive or dod they build a new engine just for it?

that tranny will generate tons of heat with no low range ...

double the weight of the rinny and it MAY be a govenor change, not gearing

That makes no since.....it is also alot heavier so it wont be hitting 65mph...
you have a better geuss?? it is stupid to think it would be geared as high as the rinny....being over 6 to 800lbs more than the rincon it would barely move......honda is smarter than that....

Last I heard, it had a High & Low Gear, 4wd, and 4wd Diff Lock. But, that was 4 or 5 weeks before it actually came out, so this info is probably incorrect.

Status: offline 		i looked one over at the dealer this weekend.  was impressed as far has honda goes. full indepedant suspension, comfortable seats, not much leg room for passenger, that could get uncomfortable in a long ride. 4wd and locker, lots of plastic, no low range. typical honda, seems built well, but is still behind.  they didnt let me drive it, but the salseman did tell me it seemed to lack low end power, with stock tires, also, the fenders would get inthe way for anything very big. a 27 in tire may rub.  glove box is about half the size of the prowler, looks easy to snorkle, the bed side appear to be easy to unbolt and make it flatbed, tailgat is too weak to sit on.  i think it will be more geared to the mule market then the prowler, rhino, trex.

sorry for the randomness of the post, but i'm in a hurry.

It can't possibly compete with the mule either, even the cheepest mule has low range and you can sit on the tail gate LOL
Matter of fact all of the knock-off or lesser brand UVs that I know of even have low locks. That is a insult to the working man who needs these to pull/haul. I don't see this being a recreational or a working UV... I'm in shock... I'm in shock
