Just wondering if either the Bi/Tri combo or the Maxxis Zillas would be better for say maybe 50/50 mud and trails?

The Tri/Bi-Claws would be better IMO. They ride as good as the Zilla's, wear probably twice as good and will pull better in the mud.

Yea the Bi/Tris are a awesome looking tire in person, all the pics I've seen didn't do them justice. And I agree 100% with CRSBear400, they will wear better ride as good and pull better in the mud and I can say they do better in the sand. I went riding at the sand pit for a while today and there was another 420 out there that had 26" Zillas and they looked good but they weren't that good in the sand he was constantly using 4wd in spots that I could easily go through in 2wd.

I love my Bi/Tri Combo, there a very capable mud tire as well as smooth riding on the hard pack trails. I have had mine on my bike for about 2 years and they show hardly no signs of wear.

IMO I would go with the Bi/Tri Combo, not saying that the Zillas aren't a good tire they are very good tires, I am just speaking from experience.
