A 680 Rincon is FI...no jets.
I'd agree...something is wrong. You should have definitely seen a power gain with the pipe...especially with all of the other mods.

No I dont think the optimizer can be compared to the pc3. You dont have nearly as much control and for some reason the optimizer is set up to be ran with the airbox lid off. Something I would not do. JMO but I think the pc3 would let you get the gains out of your pipe that you expected.

Your serious, I have one but never knew that it was meant for the it to be run with the airbox lid off......How much more is the PCIII than the optimizer???

Double check on that one before you take my word but I talked to the guys at hmf when i got my pipe and they set that their optimizer was set up for my bike with the airbox lid off. Also if you look at the hmf/optimizer dyno graphs that they show it will say no optimizer and opt. with airbox lid removed. I think some guys were sayign they got the pciii as cheap as 270 but I'm not sure where. I wouldn't totally rule out the fact that there is something wrong with the pipe because I'm not an expert on the topic but the pc3 would be my suggestion. It also lets u take away fuel so if your running rich the opt. will do nothing for you and could cause you to lose power.

Yea I would agree that something is wrong. Maybe check the condition of your air filter. If its dirty it may be restricting air causing you to run rich and robbing you of horsepower. Not sure but it would be something to check. Again I am by no means an expert on this so theres a good chance im wrong.

When I first put my Swamp Series on my fi Rincon I noticed a drop in power even after I tuned it. With alot more tuning my bike is running better than when it was stock even with the lift and 28in Bugs. It will flat out smoke a stock 680 and the top speed is 70mph. Tuning the bottom end was the toughest part to get right. Every time I thought I needed more fuel, I exctually needed less but I have a Dynatek contoller and was tuning mine at the most advanced fuel curve on the controller.

Tuning the stock pipe was easy. Just a little made it worse with the Swamp it seems right no matter where it was set until I found the sweet spot!
