WELL ui got it tore down today going back with a 85mm hc piston gonna see if it makes a diff on the low end . it should have more torque

man keep up on it i think im going to tare it down this week and get everything out to machine shop im also going to try the dual exhaust think to after i get it back together going to take it to local muffler shop and have him put on some short glass packs and snokels im also going with the dual air snorkels good luck and take some pics please

Yeah let me know how that setup goes. Are you going to put it on the dyno afterwards? I've got a 99 kodiak which is practically a big bear that I'm gonna build this winter. I want the most torque possible so I can throw around some 29.5s.

i doubt ill dyno it but it ought to work good with the web cam and the polished head

how much you think the 85 mm hc piston will wake it up? on low end? im willing to do whatever it takes to get as much out of my bigbear..i want to bebale to throw some 29.5 skinny's.

I have a 1mm over HC piston in my bike. It made a WORLD of difference. I mean really its like night and day. Its not like jets or a pipe or filter where you maybe arent quite sure where the "new" power is, youll be able to tell the difference from the first 5 feet after you start it up.

Well get your *CREATIVE SPELLING NOT ALLOWED* to working on it, I re-routed my gas tank vent today, now all i gotta do is get the exaust snorkle sealed up tight

well i got it all back together and wow i can now put around in 2nd and 3rd gear . it has alot more torque just thought i would chime in and let eveyone know

What'd it run you to get that head polished? And what brand piston are you using? What's the compression on it?
