You can never count out a yfx450. Yes the motor is smaller but they come with awesome gearing from the factory. It is a close race between the yfz and raptor. I have nevedr raced a stock banshee with my raptor but I have raced a Yfz450 with my rappy and ti was close but I won by about two bike lengths. That was in about 200ft tho. If you are racing to find topend then it seems like the raptor never quits accelerating.

Depending on what you wanna do with it. The YFZ is a little better MX bike. The raptor has tons of aftermarket for it. The banshee can be made to handle just about any imaginable amount of power you wanna put to it

acceleration wise it would prolly be between the banshee and the 450. but top end the raptor has it.

Naw acceleration is between the YFZ and Rappy. Unless the banshee has different sprockets. htey come with pretty bad gearing stock

Well if ur lookin for a good drag bike, The rappy is the way to go. plenty of topend and you can always do stuff to it to get more bottom.

on 4 wheelers you should only worry about 300ft not try to race till one of you tops out and the other can go 1 or 2 miles an hour faster. In a 300ft drag the YFZ and Raptor will win against the others and the race between the raptor and yfz will come down to the driver.

All bone stock it's between the YFZ and Raptor depending on rider. The banshee has the most potential out of any quad ever offered but, stock it's very mild. All out, full blown, drag bikes the banshee kills them.

like is said 20 year old technoligy everybody seems 2 forget that. that is a prety good run 2 stay up top 4 that long imo
but if u want a flat out top speed 4stroke bike it would be the ds650 with all of them having lots of mods imo the yfz would kill it a take off but shortly after the ds would blow right by it and the 700 rappy

Begenning the race I don't know who's gonna take the Holeshot, but I'm almost positve the Raptor is gonna slowly roll away. High Top End.

In bone stock format they all suck. All 3 bikes are limited by emissions. WIth mild mods such as exhaust and intake the yfz will walk on the 700 all day long.  Trust me i do it and piss off raptor owners every time. As for the Shee well if you adjust the gearing with the same mods as the others it will be the fastest.  And if you plan on building it for sand drags its the shee all the way ... ive see them run under 4 sec all the time

ALL StocK I would put my money on the DS450.  I know its not what you are looking at but they are great machines.  We went out quading 2 weeks ago, there was 15 of us in a group.  We raced everything.  KTM Yamaha, Honda, Zuki and Polaris.  The 2 machines that were constantly ahead were the DS and the 450R's.  And mod for mod the DS was way ahead.  With a slip on, wire cut and a stock filter the DS was winning most of the races till the temp cool off then was winning everything.  Guessing the filter was restricting it.  The closest thing was a 480 big bore Honda and a really geared down HRC 450R.  After that was the KTM 525.  The race was a 300 or so foot up hill sand drag.

As mentioned above it depends on purpose and how far in you wanna go with the racing. If you want a sub 4sec drag bike get a shee, a DS 650, or a Raptor 660. about 9 grand extra in the 4 strokes and nitruos, r 6 grand in the shee ull be close. these are all drag frames all out 300' racers. but if you want to stay stock frame the yfz450 N/A jus lightend all the way with a light jockey stock bore/stroke you can see 4.7s
