I put a 2" lift on my 800 and the rear overextended while riding and popped the plunge joint. Instead of paying 300 for just a hub from polaris, the shop I deal with found aftermarket complete axle hub to hub for 150. I installed it and tried to put lift back on. The axle wont drop enough it seems to bind at the joint. The other side will (still factory). I have seen posts about axles what is the differance between a Turner and a monkey.

Longer bar on the Turners.  Can't speak for the Grillas since I've never had one.

One question though, why did you remove your swaybar?

Articulation. Like a Jeep I can have one tire in the hole and the other on top of the rut getting traction and not tipping over. Have a look at the pic. Are you acually breaking the axle? Mine just poped out of the plunge joint but I didnt notice. The ends smashed each other for a while to get out of the bush.

The problem with the disconnected sway bar link is that you could potentially drop one side soooo far that it would pull the joint out of the tranny or pull the joint apart all together. However, everyone has their own riding style and preferance right
