I was thinking of going for something a little more high end. I figured since I was using the Polks i might find sn amp a long the same scale. But I have'nt had any luck. Then again if you tear up a cheap one you ain't out much.

Most high end amps have a more accurate wattage on their rating. I 240w cheaper amp will not push 240 watts hardly ever. Look for something around 50-60watts on the high end side that will fit into a pipe. Maybe even 100w. You might want to carry a short piece of pipe to a car stereo shop and see what they might have that would fit. I had a 45w amp years ago that would blow away one of these cheaper amps with a 240w rating. I bet Rockford makes one that would work.

I can't find a Rockford Fosgate that would fit but I think one of the older ones they made would be very close.

I used one of the Mitzu ones off ebay.  It came with the ipod plug and it sounds good, It is on my daughters Bear and i can hear it while we are riding.  Its rated at 200w but i seriously doubt that its anywhere near that rating.
