Has anybody had any problems with warranty? Have yall had any problems gettin your bikes fixed, would like to hear about it.

I am in Canada so maybe a different warranty carrier. But I had a heckof a time with mine when I had it. I had to threaten to sue to get it done.

cochran motorsports in pine bluff arkansas is awesome, ive broke a few axles, a front diff. and a few other things and they are great i drop it off and its ready in just a couple of days, w/ snorkles!!

my dealer is an a** hole, he dont want to fix anything under warranty, I dont care if it is the simplest thing. He charges me for everything, aint no use in even havin warranty. its really aggravatin.

Man that's who I use and I haven't had a minutes trouble out of him and I didn't even buy the bike from him. We've just gotten to be good friends.

dude he wont even send anything into the company to see if they will cover it, he just says, " I know they wont cover it" so i gotta pay $1000 to get my four wheeler fixed.

HESS told me today that BLAST and AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS arent/ cant warrenty anything any and wont cause something like they got into trouble for warrenting some of the stuff. Anyone else heard that or got a letter cause he did.

Yes Have a 07 400 Auto with 100 miles on it and it has to have the rings and piston replaced and A/c won't help out at all.

i know a guy who had his 07 650h1 ruin the top and bottom end with 150 miles on it and they covered it.the stock carb boot was defective and was allowing water and dirt to slowly get into his motor every ride until it blew up.you just gotta talk with your dealer and if it wasn't caused by something you did then by the terms of your warranty they really have to cover it.i'de call arctic cat myself and tell them what your problem is and they should be willing to help.

I called them already and they told me that they cant make the dealer work with me. They said if it was a seal or a part failing then they would have to cover it. I just got a new axle put in about 2 months ago and the seal leaked I guess and got mud and water in my front end and the dealer dont want to cover it.

well drive somewhere else to get work done or get a good lawyer,because if you have a warranty and a part failed and you had nothing to do with it failing or they have no proof that you had anything to do with it then they have to fix it under the terms of the warranty which is pretty much a contract.

thats what I was thinkin so I called and told him to I was comin to get it and he said well you have to pay me $130 for takin it apart. But anyway thats what im gonna have to do is just find somewhere else to go, thats just bull crap. I sure need the bike to get ready for hunting season too, this sucks.

well I dont know what the deal is, he said somethin about he had problems with the company before or somethin, but I just gonna take it somewhere else and see what happens. by the way what did you have done you your bike?

Everyone needs to be ready for all dealers to buckle down on the warranty work that they do. I know there is a letter that was sent out to dealers that there will be inspections on bikes with any broken drive line parts (axles, driveshafts, diffs, etc.).

thats good info to get out to everyone for sure, basicly if your not stock and tore up the drive train some how might not be covered anymore..

Modifications that could void the warranty are lifts, aftermarket axles, bigger tires almost any mod we do is listed.

I personaly feel like AC is trying to weed out the dealers that are making fraudulant claims.

Also alot of us Cat guys have gotten away with alot of stuff being fixed that was not the machines fault but the tires and our thumb. If we do not want to see this become a big issue for all the dealers we need to try and control ourselves better when we are in a nasty hole.

I fully understand what AC is doing and i dont blame them. i would feel bad taking my quad to them to have fixed after i beat the crap out of it. matter of fact the second bevel gear i broke my 500 was still under warrenty and i did not take it in i fixed it myself because it was my fault.

yeah i read the letter today at my dealer it does not matter to me now my warranty ran out two days ago
