Guys, as you come across a thread that needs to be added here, please either pm us or post in this thread.  Ideally, we can eventually do away with alot of the repetitive questions by making the answers easier to find...

That would be nice.

How about some common part #s, such as the new differential seals, etc.

It's against HL's rules to "host" the service manuals or the links to them.  We already had a link in this thread to ALL the AC repair manuals, and I had to remove it.  It's nice to know where to find the repair manuals, and I invite those of you to check out arcticchat for a method to find them.  However, HL wishes to keep "free" copyrighted material off their website for the obvious "possible" legal issues that could arise.  Thanks.

Maybe I missed it or maybe I do need to do it.

How do you override the rev limiter in low and is it recommended.

I know GWC has the answer.

By the way, doin' the reverse override this weekend.  Thanks for the info

dont want to do that, its hitting its max rpm in low and if you take it off you could over rev it and blow the motor up.

You could probably find one of the ignition boxes to increase RPMs 500-1000 without any ill effects.  My bike was running an 8200 rpm rev limit at one time, and I was constantly on the revlimiter in water races with no ill-effects during those races.  However, my motor wasn't exactly stock.  You need some real good valve springs and a forged piston/connecting rod if you intend to go over 7500rpms on that motor...

Copied this from my earlier post in this thread:

I threw a bone in that reply with a method to find them, but we will NOT be hosting them here.

got a suggestion... the 400m reverse fix that i've been pushing for a while has finally been proven to work, and the latest thread is this one:

http://www.highlifter.com/forum/400m_reverse_fix_has_begun%25%25%25/m_2941926/tm.htm

when the guy i'm working with gets back we'll do the mod and get a lot of pics and vids... and i'll be adding them to that thread.
