we have this stuff at work. and i saw it used today on a big fin fan. the belt was worn out and was slipping and they sprayed it on the belt and the fan blades took off! i was wondering if anyone had a reason why it would be a bad idea to put this my renegade belt? im thinking if it works that well on belts on industial stuff it should work on atv belts as well.

here is the link to the product that we use. there are other brands but they all seem to be the same stuff. http://www.kpg-industrial.com/products/belt_dressing/

Looks like it would be good if you smoked your belt a little but me personally if the belt is worn down I would just replace it. JMO.

doesnt work worth a crap. lol   i will have to find my pics of my clutches when my dad sprayed it on mine... lets just say a  little slipping is good. if nothing slips and the tires dont break loose something has to give. that would be clutch bolts and pulleys exploding through the cover and cutting through tthe footboard.

But what you're saying is that it increased belt grip?
