I picked up an 06 650 Brute SRA last month with intentions of leaving it stock.  But, after new tires, power module and as of tonight, snorkels, in the first 30 days, the stock idea is out the window.  An average ride for me would be running 15 miles up the old track beds or gravel roads, hit some woods trails that consist of a lot of roots rocks and some realy technical stuff where the brute barely fits through.  Fallen trees, washouts, mudholes, and stream crossings.  Playing in the lake and hitting every deep hole like old beaver ponds to see who makes it.  Then hitting a dirt road and barreling down to have dinner at some place maybe 10-15 miles.  I love to do wheelies and water wheelies.  Sometimes it will have a rear passengers seat with either my wife or one of the kids traveling along.

Here is the question.  What mods should I do to make my brute the best in the pack for this type of driving?  Mods, Tires, Clutch?

Thanks guys,  Hope I gave a good idea of my style.

26" MudLites  and Moose module.  The tires aren't what I hoped for, they spin so much that the back ones are wearing already.

I'm wondering about lift also ~2" to keep it mild.  Advice on skids? So far the thing rolls like a tank through the woods, but hey it's human nature to want more 'eh?

i would recommend a HMF full system (pipe).  That made a HUGE difference in mine.  if you go with a bigger tire, might as well put a clutch kit in to just in case, it'll help with the belt.  how do you like your moose power mod?  i have not got a chance to ride mine with that mod on it yet.  hopefully in Dec ill be home and get that chance.  the last time i was home i knocked a hole in my front differential, i just bought all the cv joint gaurds, skid plate, belly guard and what not as the differential WAS NOT cheap.  might be something to think about.

I like the power module.  It doesn't make huge power but it does seem to make it snappier with the throttle response.  I'd love to slap Mudzillas on it but they may not handle my terrain as well as they do mud.  I don't know how much my clutch should be set at but I'll be looking into it.  I've heard that some mods take away from the top end but just to prove my bike better than whos, I still want to be able to do 60+ miles per hour.
