Hey, Just got a new 08 Ranger xp le and loved it until we took it for a spin in the dark. I had just adjusted the headlights all the way up  and they are still pointing at the ground right in front of the hood! How many lights can I add without having charging problems? Will it run 2 7" sealed beams? Thanks Mark

I will be adding lights very soon to my new 08.

The ranger has a great charging system compared and I have seen others using HID's, strobes etc just fine.  Add as many as you can afford.

LMAO !!!

My next phase is audio but luminesents are a close phase 3.

NOT SHURE BOUT THE RANGER'S, BUT MY RZR HAS TRUE HID LIGHTS WITH THE ATV AUDIOPOD SYSTEM. IF YOUR IDLING AROUND DUE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC ON A TRAIL THEY WONT CHARGE. YOU HAVE TO BE AT A CERTAIN RPM TO CHARGE, SO I JUST DID THE OPTIMA BATTERY UPGRADE. NO MORE PROBLEMS.

hid's take less power than halogens.  You should be fine with just two lights about 55w a piece if they're halogen.  Otherwise, hid's are more expensive, but they are a lot brighter.  You can probably get a conversion kit to turn your stock headlights into hid but the light bars sure look cool on a side by side.
