Anyone running one? They claim some good numbers. Does anyone know where I can find a sound clip of one on a polaris?

I hear they are cheaply made and the atv will still sound like a bumble bee . I push for true duals on the polaris if you are getting a louder exhaust because alot of people find the high pitch exhaust realy annoying . I like the polaris 800's but the exhaust sounds like crap unless you split the cylinders with true duals . I also here that no aftermarket exhaust is going to make a power diffrence .

so money wasted to make the atv sound like crap . do not jump all over me for this it is a opinion and alot of people that ride with me agree.

I know the single will sound like that but Aaen claimed they built a true dual exhaust and the bike lost a lot of power on the top end. They said it picked up torque in the low rpms but fell off bad later on so they didn't even make a true dual kit. The numbers they are claiming are impressive but I'd like to talk to someone that has one becasue if there numbers are true you should feel a noticable difference.

Everybody sure bad mouthing the AAEN... Well I have one on my 800 EFI HO and I love it. I have the mega that is stainless and yes you do notice an increase in power... The only other pipe I would use is the HSP. Oh and by the way NO it does not sound like a weedeater.

You wouldn't happen to have a sound clip do you? I'm seriously thinking about getting one. The numbers are impressive and I like that you say it doesn't sound like a bumble bee.

I've been somewhat upset with my AAEN lately. Due to the quality of the product. I took mine off the other day to re-paint and re-pack it with stainless steel-wool (sp). It sounds great again, but only time will tell.

What do you mean the quality? Are you talking about having to repack it? How long did it last before the packing went out?

I like the sound and the power my aaen gave me but would have to agree the quality is just not there. I had to enlarge both slots for the mounting bolts and it leaks around the seams. Even if I snorkeled the exhaust water can still get in if my bike was to shut off for some reason.

Did you ever think about getting the seams welded? I bet that would fix the problem. I wish someone had a sound clip?

The Key word here is "Claim". Alot of the companies that make exhausts for the polarises make big claims that have not been backed up by the independents or more like have been busted by the independents.

The actual gains are so small that they can not even be felt by the seat of the pants and can only be seen on a dyno.

Actually the claims they are making are by far great enough to be felt. That's why I asked if someone had one and could tell me if it was true or not. Some spots in the rpm range from there dyno sheet showed almost 9 more hp. If the chart is correct you should be able to feel a good difference off the line to about 5000 rpms. That seems like it's too good to be true to me so I asked.

Someone should get them for false advertisement then. I guess the best thing to do when it comes to mufflers is get what you think sounds the best?

It cut you off, if you are using anything besides Internet Explorer, try IE, others do that sometimes
