After a long trail ride this past weekend, I thought that a horn to get the other riders (in your group) attention might be a good idea. Does anyone have a horn on their wheeler ? If so, what kind would be best ?  Thanks guys...........Rick

Now I know where my fire departments ambulance siren went... J/K LMAO  that is a good loud horn, defiately hear that over the HMF

Ive thought of using one of those airhorns you use on boats, and you get some people using them at sports events sometimes too. You can get at wally world for a cpl bucks, small and cheap.

It IS a good idea and I've been trail riding late at night before and either I, or someone that was with us had gotten separated from the main group and the horn woulda been a good pointer to get everyone together again.

I had a marine grade 96 db horn mounted up inside of the front wheelwell, but after a few rides it sounded pretty pathetic and sick so I yanked it out.

yea after NATS this year mine sounded pretty bad too, lol!  but i sprayed some brake clean in it, and let it sit for a few days with out pushing the button, dried right out.

i think there is a marine horn, but just like the marine lights they are PROUD PROUD of them, high dollar stuff.

My dad took a horn off of a junk car and put it on his 4wheeler...it works great. plus it was free, small and easy to hide and them car/truck horns are loud in the woods.  They are really loud when your not expecting it

if you have a "u pull it"  auto scrap yard, just go get some.  probably cost 20 bucks for a hand full and when they go out, just swap in a fresh one.

Any auto parts store will have the 12v horns for next to nothing. Super easy to install and well worth it IMO.

Look on Ebay and you can get a set of dixie horns that come with a small aircompressor build in for around 50$ ......but fare warn you it will drain your battery if you use it too many times in a row.I had one on my truck and it almost killed my battery but they are pretty nice and a great price. Or you could just go to walmart and get a boat air horn lol

Yup or on some of the bikes that have CDIs that did away with the reverse override use that button for the horn. Others use it for n2o. LOL
