No there isn't any body lifts available. A true body lift would only lift the plastics off the frame and that would just be silly. Plus you would have to modify your racks mouning brackets to allow the plastics to be lifted.

its funny you mention that because i used to lift my cat bodies an inch off the frame for xtra tire clearence.
i ended up using solid alum spacers with body washers on top and bottom of the spacers never had an issue.

Haha sorry to laugh but you might as well get a suspension for probably the same amount as a body lift would be if they made em.

Yeah it's a really silly idea. All you would be doing is lifting the plastics up off of the frame and suspension. Then you would have to find a new way to mount your plastics, racks, floorboards, and probably have to extend the steering shaft going to the handlebars so you can still turn your wheels.

I see the body lift as a last resort fo fender clearance after suspension lifts can't clear enough anymore.  I don't think they are silly or stupid.  Any good fabricator could make one as the one above.

I don't believe that picture is of a true body lift. I think that is of a picture of a bike with a regular 1"-2" suspension lift on the shock mounts. As I said, lifting the plastics would take remounting the racks, floorboards, handlebars, gas tank, seat, and plastics. Way more work than it's worth. Any fabricator could relocate the shock mounts and give the bike some lift or you could buy a pre-fabbed kit from someone such as Highlifter.

if you ride a honda with a sra, a body lift is all you get.  even when you put the spring lift on it just makes the frame a little higher so you can put bigger tires on it.  other than putting IRS on it or chopping the swingarm and extending the driveshaft, you're p!!ssing in the wind.

and if u still don't think it is notice the location of the snorkel hose coming from the air box to the fenders on each one and if u have ever seen a 300 then u should know u couldn't see the top motor mount on the valve cover with a factory bike unless u have the tank off

you measure ground clearance from the bottom of that sra compared to the IRS on that "kitty cat" and you will see who will make it and who won't.  I walk the dog on 500 foremans and ranchers on a weekly basis and the foremans have bigger tires than I do.  They make themselves dizzy trying to rock the bike through a hole and I just bump the throttle.

I agree with you except about the "body lift is all you get" part. I understand what you're saying but it's not a true body lift because the frame is lifted as well. They are talking about lifting just the plastics without lifting the frame.

don't get me wrong, I love a honda.  I own a 2000 350 rancher and as hard as I ride I can't tear it up (i've tried).  I also think that honda not making the 300 anymore was a big mistake (by far the toughest bike ever made).  Looking at your sig, you have done a lot to that bike and it's a beast.  I'm just comparing a SRA to a IRS (with the same modifications to each), there's no comparison.  The body lift just seems to be more trouble than it's worth.

That bike is built and is one of the oldest monsters still around.  That bike used to put IRS bikes to shame and still does.  Newbies don't know the name of the Rustler H.O.

That bike does have a body lift.  The way it is done it's hard to tell how it's done.  Just because there is no body line gap there means nothing.  This body lift is not like a truck lift.  It's not done with spacers in between every piece touching the frame.

Why must you argue with the owner of the bike when you have not even seen the bike?

Look at the distance between the front rack and plastics on the orange one, then notice the tan; much larger gap between front rack and plastics than the orange "rustler H.O".
