I paid right at $500 to swap my stock Allison with a Suncoast.

As always I say do it yourself.

But if you dont want to then I have no idea. Less than $1,000 more than $100

don't know about fords but suncoast gets rave reviews in dodges ...

ats is hit and miss ... some good, some bad, not what i'd what to put my 3-5k$ out for

go to all the ford sites and search for both ...

read the responses ...

For a Ford I would go with Brian's Truck Shop Transmissions..   ATS in a ford I have not been impressed at all...

Im pretty sure Brians (BTS) has a 1 yr full warranty.  If it breaks in a year, he pays shipping both ways and repairs for free.  If its after a year, you just have to pay shipping.  Thats what I have heard, but Im not 100% positive.

You had to ask didnt you.

Personally I am not impressed with ATS transmissions.

But at the same time no one company makes a good tranny. But Suncoast has some really good parts.

ATS 5 star convertors have been very hit and miss.

My trans is a combo of Suncoast, Mike L., ATS, Banks, and mag hytec, there is no perfect trans but when you mix and match you can build the perfect transmission for your application. But it takes a lot of R&D.

BTS trannies in fords seem to be very good. I know nothing about ford performance but I have heard good things about his trannies.
