Status: offline 		IVE GOT AN ARTIC CAT 650 IRS I WANT TO TRY AND FIT ON MY SUZUKI VINSON. HOW DIFFICULT WOULD THIS BE. THE WELDING IS NO PROBLEM. I WAS JUST WONDERING ABOUT EVERYTHING HOOKING UP.

Status: online 		i think it would be easier to take the motor out of the vinson and put in the AC. If it it the manual Vinson then it is an AC 500cc motor anyway. They should bolt right up

Status: online 		Yes I know that but you didnt understand. The motor in the AC 500m and the motor in the manual vinson are the SAME motor which is made my Arctic Cat. Therefore instead of taking the IRS off the AC just put the motor in it

Status: offline 		Yeah you would be better off sticky your 500 motor in the AC frame, it will bolt right in unless the frame you have is for a V TWIN the 400,500 and 650H1 have the same motor mounts.
Plus you will need the AC front diff to keep the gear ration the same front to back..

Status: offline 		I HAVE A 500 SUZUKI VINSON. I ALSO HAVE A 05 ARTICCAT 650 WITH THE V-TWIN. THE V-TWIN IS LOCKED UP. I WANT TO KEEP MY VINSON BUT PUT THE 650 IRS UNDERNEATH. I WANT A VINSON WITH IRS. YOU KNOW HOW IT IS. I COULD HAVE AN ARTICCAT 650 WITH A 500 VINSON MOTOR OR I COULD HAVE A VINSON WITH IRS. I WOULD RATHER HAVE A VINSON WITH IRS. I CAN PUT THE FRONT DIFF IN OUT OF THE ARTICCAT TOO.

Status: offline 		I really could not tell you, i dont know if they are close to the same or not, but so long you got a welder and a cut off tool should just be the work of lining everything up.
going to be some work for sure and take some time to do..

Status: offline 		i would buy an Arctic Cat frame for a 650H1 or a 500. Then you can swap all the stuff from the vinson over.
