Is it worth while to get a different air filter and pipe for my 06 BF 750 ? I use it mostly for work and I noticed the air filter quite restrictive when vacuuming it off and I heard that gutting the stock can made the same power as any pipe did.

I have heard mixed reviews on gutting the stock pipe. I pipe and filter certinly wont hurt anything but if you just use it for work the stock set up has more than enough power to do just about anything.

I raced an 06 650 sra stock with 27 Mudbugs that has 3000 km and has never had the clutches cleaned and he stayed with my 06 Brute with Moose and 27 Swamplites at 1500km and well taken care of up to 100km/h and then I could slowly in away from him. For having a 100cc advantage plus the Moose module I am not real impressed. Any suggestions other than hitting his kill switch ?
