Last Sunday I installed a Motion Pro Twist Throttle on my 96 TRX300 to replace the thumb throttle, got bad thumb joints and causes a lot of pain to use a thumb throttle. I had to remove the carburetor to connect the new cable linkage, When I pulled the carb out I did not notice where the Carb Vent tube connected to the frame. Right now it's just hanging down away from the motor..

Can anyone

me out and tell this dummy

where it goes?? The 2 books I have for my trx300 mention the vent tube, but don't say where it lays/connects on the frame..

Does it just hang from the frame or does it plug-in to something??

Also, not sure if it's related or not, but since installing the twist throttle I have noticed the ATV either does not want to go into reverse or when in reverse it's not wanting to stay. Does the tube connect to any part of the transmission for shifting?? I don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure the reverse problem is not a vacuum issue??

The carb vent tube comes out the left upper side of the carb and turns and runs up the airtube,,,, you have little knurls on the airtube that it sits between. The carb drain tube comes out the bottom side of the carb and just hangs down with the crankcase vent line. The carb drain has a one way valve at the bottom to prevent water from coming in,,,,
