the only vent i have to run up to  my snorkels  on the 700 is the gas tank line right??? thanks

i did my diffs cause i did not like the accordioan (sp)  style boots that were on them . but not mandatory

You'll also want to extend the CrankCaseVent up somewhat.  It's currently in the lowest point in the airbox.  If you sink the bike, all the water/mud will drain into your bottomend, which we all know to be a much larger problem than a little water on top of the piston.  Put a connector inside the airbox with another short section of hose to extend at breather to one of the highest points in the airbox.  This can/will save your day the first time you dunk the snorkels. 

Also, you want to be careful with your radiator overflow line.  I'd probably extend it also just to assure trash doesn't get sucked into the cooling system and take out the waterpump seal(ask me how I know).

the crank case vent on the new ones is allready very high in the air box i dont think you could get it any higher really, other then running it up to the top of your snorkels. its a much better air box design then the older ones have..
