Status: offline 		no warranty . got back pulled engine out  and disassembled found bevel gear broke on trans side and messed up driveline gear. housing is ok! hope this is not going to be problem on 700. maybe change tires from 29.5 to smaller  ( not!!!!) called dealer got bike from to check on any updated parts none so far

Status: offline 		ouch!  Your the first 700 grizz I've heard of with this problem.  I know the 660 did it quite a bit, but noticed the 700 uses different part #s throughout the secondary drive so I assumed they beefed it.  If you didn't crack the cases, your only looking at 200 or so in parts and "several" hours labor to be moving again.  I guess I should say congrats on the unique carnage.

I've never heard of it happening on the 660s.

Status: offline 		Please update with a parts list and what it all took to fix it, if I ever have the problem I just would like to know how to fix it.  And I HATE dealerships...so I try to avoid at all costs.

Status: offline 		The middle drive gear support goes out on the race Rhinos, sometimes......our business is building 660 and 700 Rhino motors up for racing, and we jump and put our rhinos through horrible stress - well beyond what the original motor was intended to withstand.  We now make billet middle drive supports for the 660's and the 700's....just to ensure we don't have those issues anymore.  They would probably work in the grizzly motors as well........

For what we all do to these motors (lifts, huge tires, mudding, racing, jumping, 65 HP....), they actually hold up really well!!
